Getting it right in your shop

If dust or grease builds up on the mirror, the heat doesn’t bounce. The lamp has to work twice as hard to get the same result, which isn’t great for the bulb or your electric bill. One more thing—watch your spacing. Because this heat is so intense, you can’t just wing it. If the bulbs are too close, you’ll scorch the top of your bread before the middle even gets warm.
