The guts of the tube: quartz, physics, and smart details At the core is high-purity quartz glass—tough enough for rapid heating and cooling cycles, and excellent at sending out shortwave infrared energy. We add a reflective coating on one side to push the heat forward, so less energy is wasted and the machine’s internal parts stay protected. And the connectors—R7s or Sk15—aren’t random. These bi-pin designs lock in a solid, high-temp connection that can handle the heat and vibration of 24/7 operation.
