How it actually works
Here is the secret: we use shortwave infrared (SWIR). Standard heaters just warm up the air, which is fine, but it doesn’t do much for your walls. SWIR is different. It sinks right into the surface of your walls and ceilings, heating the actual material. This pushes trapped moisture out and makes it evaporate way faster. By keeping the walls warm, you stop condensation from pooling in the first place. And since mold needs standing water to survive, it basically has nowhere to live.
Built for the splash zone
Water and electricity are a terrible mix. We know that. That’s why these are IPX4 rated. In plain English? They can handle splashes from any direction without breaking a sweat. We’ve sealed the electrical junctions and used quartz glass that won’t crack, even when it goes from ice-cold to scorching hot in a few seconds. Speaking of speed—these things are fast. Really fast. Bathrooms lose heat quickly. If a heater takes ten minutes to kick in, your room stays damp. Our lamps hit peak temperature almost instantly, so the drying starts the second you flip the switch.
A few things to keep in mind
Before you go installing these, there’s a bit of a catch. These lamps pull a lot of power. You can’t just plug them into a random lighting circuit and hope for the best. You’ll need to check your breaker capacity or have a pro do a load calculation to make sure your wiring can handle it. As for where to put them, aim for the dampest spots in the room. And one last tip: the heater does the heavy lifting by drying the surfaces, but you still need a decent exhaust fan. The lamp gets the water off the walls; the fan pushes that humid air out of the house. Together, they’re a powerhouse.
