Do you pay the &amp;ldquo;brand tax,&amp;rdquo; or do you take a chance on a domestic alternative?&#xA;Look, this isn&amp;rsquo;t about status or logos. It’s about whether the gear actually fits and works without blowing a fuse or ruining a batch of wood.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The nitty-gritty on compatibility&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here is the thing: if you don&amp;rsquo;t want to spend your weekend rewiring the control cabinet, the voltage and wattage have to be spot on. If you&amp;rsquo;re on a 230V or 400V system and the resistance is even slightly off, your PID controllers are going to throw a fit.&#xA;Then there&amp;rsquo;s the physical fit.
