If steam sneaks into those terminals, your lamp is toast.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Then there&amp;rsquo;s the materials.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Quartz tubes handle the heat just fine, but the brackets and reflectors? That&amp;rsquo;s where the trouble starts. Steam eats through cheap metal. We use anodized aluminum or stainless steel because they don&amp;rsquo;t pit or rust over time.&#xA;We also swap out standard wiring for Teflon (PTFE) or silicone-coated leads. These jackets are tough. Period. No matter how tight your seals are, accidents happen. Before anything leaves our shop, we run dielectric tests to check for insulation resistance. We need to be absolutely sure there&amp;rsquo;s no leakage current hitting the chassis.&#xA;One quick heads-up: adding all this waterproof shielding can slightly mess with the heat &lt;a href=&#34;https://henruite.com&#34;&gt;projection&lt;/a&gt; angle. You might lose a bit of that direct radiation. If you feel it&amp;rsquo;s not quite warm enough, just bump up the wattage.
